Former Jamaican Prime Minister Edward Seaga visited Atlanta last weekend as Jamaica celebrated its 48th Independence Anniversary. Seaga is currently on a book tour prormoting his newly released book "My Life and Leadership, Volume 1: Clash of Ideologies 1930-1989". The book details the life of Edward Seaga insights into the emergence of modern day Jamaica.

Just days after being recognized as the most popular dancehall artist in North America, based on on-line searches according to data from search engine Google, GYPTIAN has been added to the Damian “Jr Gong” Marley and NAS Distant Relatives 2010 Tour beginning August 24 in Charlotte, NC.

The Distant Relatives Tour is the culmination of a joint musical venture between Nas and Damian Marley which resulted in an album of the same name. The album and tour mission is to go "back to a time when rap’s greatest hits were created in basement soundrooms, not corporate boardrooms. When dancehall and hip hop music was all about moving the crowd not “moving units.”

Oscar-nominated actress and rapper/singer Queen Latifah was the guest of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz aboard a yacht chartered to celebrate the couple's recent nuptials.  The newlyweds and special invited guests sailed on a yacht in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.   Queen Latifah decided to also bring special guest, her rumored-to-be long time girlfriend health and fitness guru Jeanette Jenkins.
