colored-museum

By George C. Wolfe

Directed by Jasmine Guy

The Colored Museum is a satirical exhibit of stories which illuminates race relations in America. I saw this play this weekend and it is as uproariously funny as it is thought provoking.  Its different and not what you might expect.  I recommend you take a night with your hubby, wifey, matey, jump-off or whomever but not the kids ("not recommended for audience members under 14").  Go ahead, enjoy the show and tell them Red Carpet Shelley sent you!

Monica releasesd her new video yesterday "Everything to Me". If the song sounds familiar, that's because its a remake of "Silly of Me" by Minnie Ripperton. I love this video, Monica looks stunning and I'm glad to see that Atlanta's own is still standing!!! Love you Monica! And, by the way, the dark chocolate cutie is Chad Ochocinco - yeah baby!!!!!

Finally, the wait is over!!! The "We Are the World 25" video has been released. I think the video is well done, and the new arrangement definitely very trendy!  The new rendition includes auto-tune drops by Lil Wayne and Mr. Auto Tune T-Pain.  Also, added is a hip-hop segment with LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Swizz  Beatz and Willi.i.am. All very creative ideas, however that being said, I prefer the original version!  Sorry, no disrespect to all those involved for such a wonderful cause but some classics are just that classics and should not be touched!  Just my opinion, what do you think?
