Police have arrested Fredrick Richardson, an employee at the strip club Body Top, in connection with A.J. Jewell's death. Richardson has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. A.J. is the ex-fiance of Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burruss. See original story.

Kandi Burruss' ex-fiance, Ashley "A.J." Jewell was killed last night in Atlanta. According to Fox 5 News, A.J. got into a fight at Body Tap (a local strip club) and "suffered a severe head injury". A.J. was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made yet.
Kandi Burruss who stars on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" had been rumored to be reconciling with A.J. however I saw her on Thursday night at a celebrity bowling event and she was not wearing her engagement ring. My heart goes out to Kandi, she is having a terrible week, her uncle died recently and today is the funeral.
Kandi sent tweets to her fans to let everyone know how she felt:

The celebrity bowling tournament "Atlanta Stand-Up: Jermaine Dupri & Nelly Charity Celebrity Bowling Tournament" went down last night at Red Carpet Lanes in Duluth, Georgia (great venue by the way). The event was well attended by Atlanta's Black Hollywood. In addition to the the hosts of the event, Jermaine Dupri and Nelly, also in attendance were Big Boi, Kandi Burruss (Atlanta Housewives), Frankie and Neffy, Lance Gross, Bigga Mike (formerly Killer Mike), and Rasheeda. A lot of money was raised and all funds will go to Hosea Feed The Hungry for the direct benefit of families impacted by the Atlanta floods. Good job ATL!

Red Carpet Shelley brought you the story over a week ago that Real Housewife of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss was no longer sporting her impressive four carat diamond ring. On Friday, Kandi was a guest on the Frank Ski & Wanda Smith radio show in Atlanta. Frank Ski, a veteran interviewer, wasted no time cutting to the chase and asked Kandi some very pointed questions. The question we all wanted the answer to was "Is Kandi still engaged to A.J.?". When asked this question Kandi responded, "we had to go on a hiatus". A television show goes on hiatus, not a relationship! That being said, I applaud Kandi for openly discussing the subject. Its painful enough to break up with your man but having to discuss it publicly really sucks. I believe the pressure of her mom's disapproval and the public scrutiny played into the couple's separation but we'll see if any of the couple's dirty laundry gets aired on the hit Bravo show Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Here's a word of advice to my readers, less baby mamas means less baby mama drama! Although Kandi maintains that she and the children and their moms all got along, I believe if A.J. had less children with fewer women, it would have been less of a divisive issue with her mother. It would have also meant less media fodder. I wish Kandi all the best in her future endeavors - personally and professionally -- Kandi less baby mamas though - I'm just sayin!
