Last Friday, Jamie Foxx took the stage at the Good Morning America concert series in Central Park. Jamie walked on stage looking fly as ever in an off white Burberry trench coat. The coat was so fly that later in the broadcast GMA co-host Chris Cuomo donned the jacket too. Of course, Jamie looked much better!! He warmed up the crowd with his comedic antics and, with the help of his band, got the crowd dancing. He even threw on the popular dancehall tune "I'm So Special" by Mavado. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Jamie crooned a ballad for Diane Sawyer -- she, too, died and went to heaven.
As Jamie took the stage for the broadcast, the clouds dispersed, the sun came out and Jamie got his shine on! He sang a couple songs from his new album "Intuition". He announced at the show that the new album had just gone platinum. Congratulations Jamie!!! Jamie is one of the most talented people in Hollywood today. His voice is crystal clear and his comedic timing is impeccable. I look forward to seeing him at the BET Awards in LA on Sunday.
Good Morning America has been hosting a series of summer concerts. This Friday, Jamie Foxx is set to take the stage at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, New York City. The performances are free and open to the public. Good Morning America will telecast the performance on Friday morning during their normal broadcast time fo 7AM-9AM EST. Concert goers are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot as it is a first-come, first-serve basis. The closest entrance to Rumsey Playfield is 69th Street/5th Avenue. This weekend, at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, Halle Berry was honored with its Decade of Hotness Award. How was Red Carpet Shelley was passed over for the coveted award?? The star-studded ceremony, which will be aired on Spike TV on June 21, was held at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles. Jamie Foxx presented the award to the Oscar winning actress and the two proceeded to give the audience a mini sex tape. Looks like Jamie is indeed packing - an award that is! I am not mad at you Halle but your baby daddy might have a different opinion on that!
Blame it on the Henney??? I'm not sure what to blame Jamie Foxx' recent Miley Cyrus comments on. The extremely talented Grammy and Oscar Award winner currently hosts a weekend satellite radio show called "The Foxxhole". He made the comments on his show after learning that 16 year old Miley was backstage at the Grammys and wanted to meet the group Radiohead. Apparently, Radiohead didn't meet with Cyrus and she made comments about the situation which were viewed as obnoxious by Foxx' radio guests. Foxx wasn't even sure who Miley was and asked "who is Miley Cyrus?" After learning that she was the Disney superstar of Hannah Montana fame, Foxx commented "The one with all the gums? She's got to get a gum transplant!". When someone else called Miley a bitch, Foxx commented "this is the Foxxhole we don't give a sh*t, we're all going to hell". He then went further to say that Miley should "make a sex tape and grow up", "get like Britney Spears and do some heroin", "do like Lindsay Lohan and get some crack in your pipe" and "catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat, that's what I want". Now I ain't gonna lie, your girl Red Carpet Shelley has had enough Miley, Hannah AND Montana to last a lifetime but I'm not sure if Jamie wanted to go there... Granted, he is a comedian but I think this drama has only just begun cuz those folks over at Disney sure love some dang Miley!!!! BTW, did I forget to mention that Foxx is father to a teenage daughter?? Neither Miley's nor Jamie's camp have commented on this situation.
