This year's Grammy Awards was one of the best ever proven by virtue of the fact that I didn't fall asleep! There were several historic moments. The Aretha Franklin tribute was one of those moments. It was great to see Aretha and a great performance by Martina McBride, Florence Welch, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams and shout out to Christina Aguilera who had a point to prove and did (on stage trip notwithstanding!). Jennifer Hudson......nothing more to say....R E S P E C (intentionally misspelled, its the Caribbean version!)
The 53rd Grammys went down last night and, as usual, the red carpet was memorable. Lady Gaga did not disappoint with her alien pea in a pod entrance, Nicki Minaj was all about the leopard print (shout out to Jersey!!) and some looked like they were on the way to the supermarket - Diddy!
