Eminem was reportedly robbed on May 31 during the MTV Movie Awards. Apparently, during the show, Em's hotel room was burglarized and a very pricey necklace ($60K) along with his personal laptop were stolen. There's some noise out there on the blogs that the robbery is a payback of sorts for beef with some other rappers (to protect the innocent i.e. me, I am not naming anyone!!!). And here it is I thought the payback was the buttload of Sacha!!!
The rapper performed at the MTV Movie Awards prior to the now infamous Sacha Baron Cohen stunt which, by the way, is being confirmed by some as a very well orchestrated stunt. MTV writer Scott Aukerman allegedly wrote on his blog: “Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.” However, the blog entry no longer exists which leads one to believe that MTV would like us to continue to believe that it was unstaged. However, Philip Odegard (Founder, ODEGARD Media, Inc.), an MTV Award Show Guest also confirms the stunt as rehearsed. "While the act was very compelling and appeared un-scripted on Eminem and crew's behalf, prior the the seating at the award show, Eminem and Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) rehearsed the act several times." "Come on, do you really think MTV would really put a popular artist such as Eminem on the spike during a nationally syndicated television broadcast?, Anyone notice Eminem was already pre-mic'd as they captured his audio reactions when Sacha fell into his lap?"
Yesterday at MTVs Movie Awards rapper Eminem got a butt load - literally!!! Eminem performed at the annual Awards show after five years off the music scene. Shortly thereafter, while seated in the audience, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Borat) was lowered into the audience and landed on Eminem. Now, it is unclear if this was a hoax or an accident but I think this was no accident. Needless to say, Eminem was PO'd. Em and his posse stormed out after the tongue in cheek moment...
