Well, its a done deal, the most talked about wedding of the year actually took place yesterday. Khloe Kardashian is now Khloe Odom (Khlomar, I like my name for this couple do you?). Khloe looks stunning in a white Vera Wang dress. RCS side note, why isn't Lamar or Khloe smiling???
Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom to Wed Tomorrow but Not Without A Prenup!
Celebrity couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom (Khlomar, Khlodom -- which of my names do you prefer??) are set to marry tomorrow at the home of close family friend Irving Azoff. The buzz is that the wedding will be private and "classy" (until the helicopters arrive!). The guest list is a virtual who's who of Hollywood. Reportedly many of his L.A. Lakers teammates will be in attendance in addition to her sisters Kim and Kourtney and, of course, Ryan Seacrest. Ryan who is the producer of Khloe's hit show" Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami" is basically footing the bill! Yes, that's right the reported $1MM wedding will be taped and broadcast on the hit show. In return, the show picks up the tab. Nice lay up Odom!
There's only one little detail, the prenuptial! Thank God Odom (aka the $30MM man) requested Khloe sign a prenup however the lawyers are still working out the fine little details! Reportedly, the negotiations are so mired in details that tomorrow's nuptials will be fake -- i.e. just for the cameras, and the always needed ratings! The rumor is that Khloe's show is footing the $1MM bill but tomorrow's wedding must go on for that to happen. What's the big deal, Lamar can just be the $29MM man instead, what's $1MM between spouses???
I have to say that I'm wondering how does someone worth $30MM meet a girl and want to marry within a month? Kim Kardashian said of Odom, "Lamar is an amazing person, he's gotten to know all of us and we've spent a lot of time with him. He's so much fun, such a good guy,". Huh??? The bride met him a month ago, there's no way you've "spent a lot of time with him"! For crying out loud, Khloe's step dad, Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, found out about the engagement through Ryan Seacrest's radio show! According to People Magazine, Jenner thought it was a joke. "Then I was on the driving range later that day and someone came up to me and said, 'Congratulations, I hear your daughter is getting married.' Then it was on the news that night and I thought, maybe there is something to this."
RCS side note, why didn't Lamar marry his baby mama, Liza Morales? Lamar dated Morales for twelve years and they have two children. Liza had this to say about the situation "
"I would definitely say it is moving too fast. I think that marriage is a life commitment and it is not something you rush into. You can't think about the wedding. You have to think about the marriage and what that consists of. This is not a fabulous pair of shoes, or a fabulous custom-made suit we are talking about. So would definitely say he is acting on impulse."
All I can say is big ups to Khloe because that putang must be the schznit cause she put it on a brother and he put a ring on it - fast!!!!
