Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, has petitioned the courts for financial support from Michael Jackson's estate. The 81-year old father of the late Michael Jackson contends that he was supported by Michael indirectly through his wife Katherine. The filing states "he does not have a regular or steady source of income, and he was dependent upon the money provided by his son, Michael Jackson, through his wife, Katherine Jackson, for his support" .
Katherine was awarded $26,000 monthly while the children are receiving $60,000 monthly for their care. The amount of Joe's request is undisclosed however, in an itemized list of expenses, he is spending approximately $10,000 monthly including $3,000 in hotel expenses!!!

Police have arrested Fredrick Richardson, an employee at the strip club Body Top, in connection with A.J. Jewell's death. Richardson has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. A.J. is the ex-fiance of Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burruss. See original story.

Kandi Burruss' ex-fiance, Ashley "A.J." Jewell was killed last night in Atlanta. According to Fox 5 News, A.J. got into a fight at Body Tap (a local strip club) and "suffered a severe head injury". A.J. was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made yet.
Kandi Burruss who stars on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" had been rumored to be reconciling with A.J. however I saw her on Thursday night at a celebrity bowling event and she was not wearing her engagement ring. My heart goes out to Kandi, she is having a terrible week, her uncle died recently and today is the funeral.
Kandi sent tweets to her fans to let everyone know how she felt:

Almost two years following his diagnosis, yesterday, at the age of 57, Patrick Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. The actor most remembered for his roles in Ghost and Dirty Dancing passed away in his sleep with family at his side.

LOS ANGELES — Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into viewers’ hearts with “Dirty Dancing” and then broke them with “Ghost,” died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were given.

Less than a week after the death of DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein), speculation is swirling around the cause of this death. Was it an accidental overdose or a suicide? According to the Associated Press, "six pills were found in the celebrity disc jockey's stomach and that the pill in his throat appeared to be the powerful painkiller OxyContin." Six pills seems like a lot to be considered "accidental"... I'm just sayin....
DJ AM's body was found last Friday next to a crack pipe and a Valentine's Day card from his ex-girlfriend Haley Wood that read "Thank God you're in my life. I love you." The official autopsy and toxicology reports are still pending.
