You have probably the endless pictures of flood devastation in Atlanta. I reside in Atlanta and was travelling back to the A on the day of the storm. After landing three hours late due to inclement the weather, I frantically rushed home wondering if my home was affected by the storms (I live in Cobb County, pictured above, one of the hardest hit areas). Thankfully, I have no flood damage and all my friends and family are safe. Unfortunately, there are countless others not as fortunate as I. Many have lost everything and to add insult to injury most Atlantans do not have flood insurance. See more photos.
Please think about making a financial donation to aid those affected by the recent floods in the Southeast. Thanks for your consideration! Below are links to make donations.

Also, a very famous DJ here in Atlanta, DJ Infamous, has lost everything including all his DJ equipment. Please consider making a contribution to him:

(via GyantUnplugged.com) "And while there are definitely many people who need help, the floods have taken one of Atlanta’s own DJ’s to task. DJ Infamous, one of the MOST influential DJ’s in Atlanta is in need of some relief. With a week old son and all his DJ equipment ruined, its time for ATL industry to rally around one of our peoples. I received this heartfelt email from publicist Tahira Wright of Branded PR and Are You In, Inc:
You’ve probably have heard by now, Infamous lost everything after his house was flooded yesterday, including all of his DJ equipment! He has a one week old son! Please keep them in your prayers. I will be heading over to drop off baby items to Infamous tomorrow, Wednesday 09/23/09 & Thursday 09/24/09.
