Academy-Award winning actor and activist Sean Penn saved a woman and an orphan child during a rescue mission on Thursday in Haiti. The victims were caught in the rubble of a building that had collapsed perhaps caused by an aftershock. Sean Penn, who runs the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization in Haiti drove for one and a half hours with his daughter Dylan to rescue the two victims. The victims had been trapped in the rubble outside the capital, Port Au Prince.
Sean helped in removing the woman and the child from the rubble. The woman suffered leg injuries, while the child suffered head injuries. The actor then drove them to the University of Miami hospital camp in Port-au-Prince.

BET's reality show Tiny & Toyataped a a show and benefit concert earlier this week at Opera night club. Attendees were surprised when Tameka “Tiny” Cottle's man, T.I. made a surprise appearance. "I am very well, very happy to be seen," said T.I. at the event, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
TheJamaica Reggae Film Festival2010 gets underway tomorrow in Kingston, Jamaica. The Reggae Film Festival will kick off with a swanky red carpet gala at the Hilton Kingston (host hotel). The gala will premier the Japanese reggae documentary Ruffn’ Tuff – Founders of the Immortal Riddim (watch trailer below). Making appearances in the film are Leroy Sibbles, Bob Andy, Gregory Isaacs, and John Holt. The festival will run from February 25th through February 27th.
