Multi-plantinum R&B sensation Ciara is set to release her third album "Fantasy Ride" on Tuesday, May 5. With this in mind, any body who is anyone in Atlanta showed up and showed out at her album release party this Wednesday at the Luckie Lounge. So you know your girl Red Carpet Shelley was in the building!! 
The mood was set from the moment of arrival: hip, chic, urban and definitely sexy! 
While waiting the arrival of the guest of honor, some mulled around the bar while others scoped out the venue looking for the perfect spot to observe the sexy in the city! The excitement was palatable as many of hip hop's finest gathered 
to support one of Atlanta's own. Some of the notables in attendance included Young Jeezy (he is featured on the album on the single "Never Ever" which is currently climbing the charts), Jazzy Pha, Monica, Juelz Santana, and Nene (of Housewives of Atlanta). Here are some pics - enjoy!

Blame it on the Henney??? I'm not sure what to blame Jamie Foxx' recent Miley Cyrus comments on. The extremely talented Grammy and Oscar Award winner currently hosts a weekend satellite radio show called "The Foxxhole". He made the comments on his show after learning that 16 year old Miley was backstage at the Grammys and wanted to meet the group Radiohead. Apparently, Radiohead didn't meet with Cyrus and she made comments about the situation which were viewed as obnoxious by Foxx' radio guests. Foxx wasn't even sure who Miley was and asked "who is Miley Cyrus?" After learning that she was the Disney superstar of Hannah Montana fame, Foxx commented "The one with all the gums? She's got to get a gum transplant!". When someone else called Miley a bitch, Foxx commented "this is the Foxxhole we don't give a sh*t, we're all going to hell". He then went further to say that Miley should "make a sex tape and grow up", "get like Britney Spears and do some heroin", "do like Lindsay Lohan and get some crack in your pipe" and "catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat, that's what I want". Now I ain't gonna lie, your girl Red Carpet Shelley has had enough Miley, Hannah AND Montana to last a lifetime but I'm not sure if Jamie wanted to go there... Granted, he is a comedian but I think this drama has only just begun cuz those folks over at Disney sure love some dang Miley!!!! BTW, did I forget to mention that Foxx is father to a teenage daughter?? Neither Miley's nor Jamie's camp have commented on this situation.

Natalie Cole appeared on CNN's Larry King Show last night. The singer is suffering from Hepatitis C and is currently on dialysis. Her kidneys are failing and the famous daughter of the infamous Nat King Cole is in need of a kidney in order to avoid dialysis for the rest of her life. Ms. Cole was diagnosed with the disease last year and has undergone chemotherapy and other aggressive treatments however both kidneys have now failed. According to Ms. Cole, she likely attained the disease as a result of needle sharing during her well publicized bout with drug abuse. As she appeared on the Larry King show, emails poured in from loving fans offering to be tested to see if they would be a match. My prayers go out to Natalie and I hope that she will find a match soon.
